7 Sins

Illustrates the famous list of vices through real-time Twitter conversations.

What it does

7 Sins is a work of installation art designed to display Twitter posts related to the seven deadly published in real-time. Tweets are displayed across a fragmented three-panel layout and occupy a screen for only a few moments before being replaced, never to be seen again, by another tweet on another sin.

The result is an illuminating glimpse at the pop culture’s fascination with the seven deadly sins. In movies, books and films they are a stand in for our worst tendencies and a historical way for artists to explore and examine the dark side of human nature. 7 Sins takes that age old fascination and ties it to the world’s latest technology.
