Patchwork Tweet

Real-time tweets about current top stories paired with relevant images from the social web.

What it does

Patchwork Tweet is a work of installation art designed to display in real time opinions published Twitter users about current events.

Tweets are displayed across images pulled from Flickr in a fragmented three-panel layout. These patchwork tweets occupy a screen for only a few moments before being replaced, never to be seen again, by another tweet on another topic. The result is an ephemeral and illuminating glimpse at the world’s reactions to news stories as they unfold.
